On June 28th, 2020, I had the privilege of being a speaker at the African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association (AWCAA) Ladies First Brunch Event! Ladies First is an annual brunch-fundraiser created to build awareness and support for women of color who've been directly or indirectly affected by breast cancer. It's a cause very dear to me heart as black women’s health is something I have been passionate about for years.

Due to COVID-19, AWCAA turned this years brunch into an engaging live-stream telethon featuring doctor-led power talks, fashion + fitness, and more! Your’s truly demonstrated this Sauté Salmon recipe demo inspired by cancer fighting ingredients found in many African dishes.
